Not every prototype will be brought to life, at least nowadays.
I like following prototypes of phone:

Not long time ago I though it would take years to make such phone.
But suddenly group of scientists from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology have developed a chip almost completely transparent.
The chip uses a new TRRAM (transparent resistive random access memory) technology that’s presented by the American Institute of Physics in the latest issue of Applied Physics Letters.
Jung Won Seo says “It is a new milestone of transparent electronic systems”. “By integrating TRRAM device with other transparent electronic components, we can create a total see-through embedded electronic system.”
So we have a possibility to meet future very soon.
